Ulduar 25 Man on Sunday please sign up
by Gingaldo on June 16, 2009, 11:58:00 AM After last Monday night's boss bashing session in Ulduar 10 (6 bosses dropping in under 3hrs, a new record for us), a group of 10 brave Daggers headed in for some more action again last night. Starting with Flame and attempting 2 towers up this week, proved a little more difficult than we'd thought, so we nuked another tower down and went for him with just the one tower up again. After that we one shotted XT-002 Deconstructor, Kologarn and Auriaya. Decision time, go back for some easy lewt from Razorscale and The Iron Council, or kill something new! So...we headed for Thorim, one of the four keepers inside Ulduar. After 4 or 5 practice attempts and deciding the best way to do the gauntlet (the old group and nuke works), we managed to get him down fairly easily. Gratz to all for a pretty much flawless kill (sry Phil) and gratz to Phoenix for getting our first T8 shoulder token.
I would have posted a screenshot of the kill, but some noob called Ging (yes me...) decided to talk to Thorim and he ported out...oops! Look out for kill screenshot next time.
EDIT - Screenshot from after the Thorim encounter last night (22 Jun 09).
We still had around 30mins or so before raid end, so rather than going on and attempting another new boss, we headed back and one shotted The Iron Council and Razorscale for that easy lewt. In doing so, this brought us to a total of 7 boss kills in our allocated raid time. Good job everyone!
Next week, more new kills (hopefully!). 18 Views | Rating: (0 rates)

by Imogen on June 15, 2009, 09:13:12 AMHey all,
Nice work in OS last night with 1 Drake up. I saw a lot of people get the achievement there and it was nice to see it go so well. Also we have planned an Ulduar 25 man for Wednesday and will be looking to get the first 3 Bosses down when we go.
Please sign up if you are available.
Cheers,

by Gingaldo on June 09, 2009, 01:15:00 PM.jpg) Just a quick update to say that we made a bit of progress in Ulduar 10 last night by downing the Assembly of Iron in the Antichamber area. We only needed 2 attempts to get them down and it was done with a fair amount of ease. That brings the tally in Ulduar 10 to 7 bosses down out of a possible 13 (or 14 if you include the hard mode dood). 6 bosses fell in around the 2hrs 30mins we spent inside the instance last night (Flame, Razorscale, XT-002 Deconstructor, Kologarn, Auriaya and the Assembly of Iron), with only Ignis in the Seige area left standing at the end of the raid (we've killed him before though). Look out for more progress here soon!
Oh, there's no screenshot i'm afraid as we were all too eager to go kill stuff and forgot! Instead, you'll find an image from the original photo shoot. 14 Views | Rating: (0 rates)

by Gingaldo on June 08, 2009, 04:49:00 PMAfter Wednesday's triumph in Ulduar 25 for the Daggers and Flare, we headed back in for some more action last night. This time, the target was XT-002 Deconstructor. We had a good few attempts on this boss who was proving very stubborn at times. Each time though, we got closer and closer to getting him down. I think we could all feel that he'd drop on the night, but as the clock ticked on to getting closer to raid end, there was a bit of doubt. One the final attempt of the evening though, we finally managed to get him down!
Gratz to all for the team effort and for staying until we got him down (some even said they'd stay all night if they had to!). We could have relocated, but we all wanted the kill.

by Gingaldo on June 04, 2009, 03:04:00 PMHaving not been in Ulduar 25 since the opening weekend, a team of Daggers grouped with our new allies Flare headed back again to see how we faired. We'd already downed the Flame on our first visit that weekend, but it was still new for many who went last night. We'd only planned to drop Flame Leviathan and then head to Naxx 25/EoE 25. Having dealt with the first boss within 30 mins or so, it was decision time - stay in Ulduar or head elsewhere. The consensus was to stay and see if we could get anything else down. So, we headed to Razorscale. After a couple of practice attempts (themselves the best attempts we'd ever done and managing to get below 50% each time), we got the big drake down.
Big gratz for a great team effort in downing this new boss for us all and gratz to all the lewt winners!

We still had around 30mins before raid end and decided to continue and have a crack at XT-002 Deconstructor. Although we didn't manage to get the robot with the girly voice down on the night, our attempts were good and i'm sure we'll get the kill when we head back on Sunday night for another attempt. 27 Views | Rating: (0 rates)
